The story behind the song... as described by TJ at '99 Scottfest :

"A guy learns that one of his dear friends, maybe a family member is sick; probably going to die... and he's really far away, and so he wants to be there to comfort his friend, and the quickest way to get there is by airplane. But he has a phobia about it, so he tries to go on an airplane, against his will cause he's really scared about it, but in his flight he falls asleep, and when he dreams, he dreams that the airplane crashes and he dies. But he wakes up at the airport, and he sees his friend, and he has a revelation about life." - TJ Miller
